Patriot Series

The four Photoluminescence paintings are my attempt to visually express the feelings experienced by our nations patriots during the American Revolution. Expressionist techniques, using distorted subjects and vivid colors, were infused into our national symbol Bald Eagle’s expressions to capture intense feelings resulting in a blend of positive and negative human emotions. I believe declaring independence and ratifying the constitution/bill of rights are some of the most risky, creative and successful human endeavors of all time
